Coming Summer 2024.

EP 1: Torren Martyn & Simon Jones

Australian free-surfer Torren Martyn sets out on a new adventure, sailing through Indonesia for the first time to test a new board design shaped by his long-time friend Simon Jones. In their own ways, the two explore what lies outside of their comfort zones. Simon side-steps from his traditional models to make a one-off oddball that Torren becomes obsessed with. Likewise, Torren learns to sail and captain his own vessel, bearing the storms and unforeseen wonders one can only find at sea.

EP 2: William Aliotti & Ryan Lovelace — The Asymmetric

For fine-tuned pro-surfers such as Willam Aliotti, a small difference in a board can change a lot. The renowned & innovative shaper Ryan Lovelace creates a unique asymmetric board & a second rendition of a flat-tail fish for William to test in a variety of waves. A long-distance collaboration between Santa Barbara, CA, and Hossegor, France, the two parley between and make progress through trial and error. Will does what he does best, surfing in Indonesia, France, and the Spanish Canary Islands.

EP 03: Tyler Warren & Ian Gottron — The Traditional Fish

California shaper, surfer, and artist Tyler Warren pays homage to surfing history by creating his own rendition of a traditional fish model. With his long-time friend and up-and-coming charger Ian Gottron, the two set out to Jeffrey’s Bay, South Africa to fulfill their nostalgic dreams and see how the traditional fish still stands today.

EP 04: Trevor Gordon — The Hybrid

Preparing to cross the Atlantic Ocean in his Outremer 45 catamaran, free-surfer Trevor Gordon realized a fish was missing from his quiver. With two days before shove off, he hand-shapes a crude surf craft in the boatyard. Piece-mealing any equipment he could find to make it work, Trevor’s improvisation and creative skills were put to the test. After a successful crossing, Trevor is rewarded with waves on the other side of the Atlantic and we get to see the board in action.

EP 05: Grant ‘Twiggy’ Baker & Axel Lorentz — The Gun

The relentless big wave world champion Grant ‘Twiggy’ Baker has high-demands for his specialized equipment. Trusting in renowned shaper Axel Lorentz to fulfill his new quiver order, Twig tests the limits of his custom edge designs in giant waves at Nazaré and the Spanish Basque Country.

EP 06: Tristan Mausse & Yrwan Garcia Leal — The Speed Hull

Tristan is an underground shaper gaining momentum in the global community and selling his boards worldwide. He has taken up shaping residencies in Japan, US mainland, and Hawaii among other hotspots. Yrwan is a vans rock musician who shreds hulls and alternative shapes. The two make a speed hull shape together for ripping around the Basque Country, chatting about life and making music along the way.

Mirrors Short Film

Director / Producer / Editor

If love is the recognition of oneself in another then perhaps we are mirrors of each other. Weaving together the selected stories of 5 individuals from 3 different countries, this film explores the universal experience of love by this definition. Each individual offers a unique perspective on the topics of love, loss, and self-reflection, as they share and recreate scenes from their past. Blurring the lines between fiction & reality, “Mirrors” explores the bounds between you and me, self and other, and ultimately probes the deeper questions of our existence: What are we here to teach each other? What parts of yourself do you see in me?
